I have finally picked up my knitting again. I haven't knitted a stitch for weeks, but yesterday during the wait for the result of the Swedish election I was sitting in my sofa watching TV and knitting on my Dublin Bay socks. Still on the first sock.. But it's time to shape the toe very soon. Here are the latest pic's of my Dublin bay. And don't forget Socktober fest 2006, starts October 1st. And talking about socks. At my underground station, Näckrosen (Water Lily Station in English - how poetic!) you can find this in a display: A pair of a big fair isle socks. I pass this pair every morning and they makes me smile! Subway Art! The Stockholm Underground is filled with art, but I haven't seen anything knitted before! / C |
